Working that Snuggie like Sasha at her Fiercest, Nguyen recreated the video's dance moves, color washes and moving frames, right down to the singer's facial expressions and of course, baby bump! Going through my mails, someone sent me this note and asked me to share, so here it is.................

Everybody dies but not everybody lives. Obiola you lived. Though it was short but then your life (living) wasn’t in vain. I remember Bowen days back  is SADLER Hall– the Barrister was your roomie and you poked fun at moi mildly bout moi hitling on another guy’s chic. Femi did refer to you as the gentle giant, I like to think of you as the Man amongst boys. You were the reason – most of your friends (clic) could finish from Bowen. Not that you paid their fee (at least not to my knowledge) but you were the voice of caution. The one that preached moderation. Your level of cool way out of this world. There was just one rule in Bowen and that was “thou shall not get caught” and I like to say you understood this rule too well and it rubbed off on other Bacosa members. You did make your mark, you took people for who they were on an encounter basis, you would still be friends with anybody, no matter the argument. You touched lives differently, I can’t help but think bout what would be said of me after am gone. This brings me to coining out my personal vision and mission statements. You life wasn’t in vain and I hope your death wouldn’t be, I do not vow but I promise “to not live less than a man and never to be a party to mediocrity, I promise that when my opportunity comes to effect changes on how things are done in this country,  like Dora Akunyuli(when she was newly appointed Nafdac Boss) it won’t be business as usual, I would do my best possible to leave indelible marks on the sands of time”. Your favorite phrase “guy, how far now…bake bread now” is remembered by all,I guess its the heavenlies turn to bake bread with you.

Hello everyone, its been a while since I blogged. This month so far has been a mixture of good and bad news but as the Holy Book says, in all things we should thank God.

I have been off blogging because I was reading for my project management exams which I got the result today, and guess what? I passed and I am so happy and I'm over the moon.

MY THOUGHTS ON LIFE!!!!!!!! LIVE DON'T JUST EXIST....

Wow, it is the beginning of the second half of the year; I just moved house and most of you would notice that I have not updated my blog recently. I have just been thinking and I have recently thought about what life is all about and I have decided to share my thoughts with my readers. What is life? Why are we here?  Why do things happen? What would people say about me when I’m gone?  Mind you I’m only 26 years. I’m just 26 years does not mean I’m too young to die; I only live by God’s Grace. Last month I was shaken by the tragedy that struck Nigeria, The Dana air plane crush. This tragedy affected many people one way or the other; I had someone on that flight that went to the same university I attended and another person who was to resume September for his final year at the same university. I have friends whose uncle died in that crush and others whose Pastor was on that plane. 

There was a particular girl on that flight, Irene she was just 21years, people wrote about her on facebook, also a vigil was done in her honour at GVC in Nottingham. People wrote so many nice and lovely things about her, how she went to a charity in Ghana and helped the orphans, how she helped to pay someone’s school and living expenses. I don’t know her but at just 21 years that was a great accomplishment; she automatically became an inspiration to me.  I thought to myself “If anything happens to me today what would people say about me” Do I really have friends that would say nice things about me?  Have I done anything nice to anyone? Am I living or just existing?  What about charity? Do I do anything for charity? What are my achievements? Have I touched anyone’s life in my 26 years of existence?  It made me sad because I don’t have answers to most of the questions I asked myself.

50 CENT involved in a serious accident!!!!!!!!!

50 cent was taken to Queens hospital after a collision between his SUV and a Mack truck on the Long Island Expressway. According to fan site ThisIs50.com, the incident occurred when a red truck rear-ended his bullet proof vehicle and it 'almost flipped over'.  50 Cent was put on a stretcher and taken to the nearby medical facility, along with his driver.

A representative for 50 Cent says the rapper has now been released from the hospital after being treated for 'minor neck and back injuries'.

SURI: Mum took my Ice cream

It had all started off so well - staying up late in New York with her mother to enjoy pizza and ice cream.

But it all got a bit much for little Suri Cruise when her mother Katie Holmes took the sweet treat off her, perhaps for misbehaving.

The actor's publicist finally confirmed this afternoon the couple had 'amicably separated' despite their repeated denials their relationship was in trouble.

The French-born actress and the American star who famously never married, have not been seen at a public event together since 2010.

I met him one hot Saturday as I was waiting for a taxi on Grogner Street in Iwaya, Onike. He pulled over and  asked where I was headed. I don’t ever talk to people on the road but this day, the look of the mist on the window of his air conditioned car made it difficult to ignore him given the extreme heat I was exposed to.
I stepped into his car, grateful for the ride, yet determined to let him know I was no cheap girl that jumps into available cars.

“Thank you so much, Sir, for the ride. I normally wouldn’t do this but I have been standing outside in the sun for at least 30 minutes. The cabs come in trickles and are either taken or too expensive. No one is interested in going my way”

“Where might that be?” He asked, totally ignoring every other thing I had said.

“I’m going to Ikota but I’ll drop off once we get to any major road where I can find a cab”.

“You’re in luck. I’m actually going to VGC but I need to get to Surulere first. So I can either drop you off at a taxi park or you accompany me to Surulere and then I drop you off at your doorstep.”

Fashion: Zara wins appeal case against Christian Louboutin.

Louboutin initially sued Zara back in 2008 for selling an open-toed red-soled shoe for €49 (£39.64) which it claimed was similar to its Yo Yo model but Zara filed an appeal on the grounds that there could be no proven risk of confusion between Zara’s footwear and that which Louboutin sells.

The court agreed with Zara but Louboutin then appealed against this ruling.

Last week The French Cour de Cassation, which is the final court of appeal, upheld  the decision in favour of Zara and ruled that Louboutin pay Zara €2,500 (£2,000) in compensation.

Father Catches Man Sexually Assaulting His 4Year Old Daughter And Punches Him To Death!

A Texas father caught a man sexually assaulting his 4-year-old daughter and punched him in the head repeatedly, killing him, authorities said.

The girl was left inside the family's house during a social gathering, while other members of her family were tending to horses. The father returned to the house, caught the man in the act, and stopped him by striking him in the head several times. The man was pronounced dead on the scene, while the daughter was taken to a local hospital in Victoria, Texas, for examinations before being released. Lavaca County Sheriff Micah Harmon said

Evangelist Eucharia Anunobi's new movie 'The Kingdom'

The movie titled “The Kingdom”  was released over the last weekend and features Eucharia Anunobi  herself, Van Vicker, Tana Adelana,  Annie Idibia (NEE McCauley) amongst others.

I haven’t watched it but I hope it’s interesting cos I’m not a fan of Nigerian movies, maybe this might change my mind.

Cameron leaves daughter, 8, at pub!!!!!!!!

Prime Minister David Cameron left his eight-year-old daughter in a pub following a Sunday lunch, after a mix-up with his wife Samantha.

The couple's daughter Nancy wandered off to the toilets while they were arranging lifts and they only realised she was not with them when they got home, The Sun said.

Mr Cameron rushed back to the Plough Inn in Cadsden, Bucks, where he found his daughter with staff.

A Downing Street spokesman said: "The Prime Minister and Samantha were distraught when they realised Nancy wasn't with them.

"Thankfully when they phoned the pub she was there safe and well.

"The Prime Minister went down straight away to get her."

The Camerons were at the Plough Inn - near the Prime Minister's country retreat Chequers - with Nancy and their other children Arthur, six, and 22-month-old Florence, as well as two other families.

When Mr Cameron left the pub he went home in one car with his bodyguards and thought Nancy was with his wife and their other children in another car. Mrs Cameron had assumed her eldest daughter was with her father.

The mistake was only discovered when they got home.

Mr Cameron drove back to the pub and found Nancy helping staff. She was away from her parents for about 15 minutes.

Kidnapped footballer Christian Obodo rescued!!!!!!

Christian Obodo was rescued this evening by the Nigerian police force. The footballer, who was kidnapped yesterday morning in Warri, was traced to Isoko, just outside Warri, Delta State. No ransom was paid and most of the kidnappers were arrested.

Kidnappers of Super Eagles midfielder, Christian Obodo, demand N28m

The kidnappers of Super Eagles and Udinese midfielder, Christian Obodo, have demanded 150,000 euros (N28 million) ransom for his release.

The 28 year old footballer, was kidnapped by four unidentified gunmen in front of Zion Ministry Church Effurumin, Warri, Delta state in the early hours of Saturday.

According to sources close to the footballer, Obodo was driving alone in his customized SUV, ‘Obodo 5′ when the gunmen in another vehicle double crossed him, dragged him out of his car and sped off with him before anybody could come to his rescue.

His customised plate number reportedly gave him away as his abductors were said to have trailed the footballer after he reportedly went to a club in Warri on Friday night.

The Commissioner of Police in Delta State, Mr. Ikechukwu Aduba, confirmed the incident, saying, the matter was being investigated.
A few hours after his abduction, the kidnappers contacted his family demanding 150 thousand Euros for his release. Obodo is the first footballer to be kidnapped in Nigeria. They’ve messed with footballers families but never a footballer until now.

Over the past three days, I have been inundated with phone calls, text messages and emails from fans, friends, family members and well wishers from all over Nigeria and abroad over allegations of wife battery, assault and thievery by my wife, Mrs. Kikelomo Oyeniyi, as contained in an interview she granted City People Magazine.

I make bold to say that as much as no union is without its own trials and tribulations, I have never laid hands on my wife and will never because have got sisters and a mother.

Sheryl Crow diagnosed with brain tumour !!!!!!!!!!!!

 American singer Sheryl Crow has revealed she has a brain tumour. She who has survived breast cancer, has a common form of brain tumour called a meningioma, her rep confirmed to E! News. The 50-year-old's tumour is benign.

The singer told Las Vegas Review-Journal columnist Doug Elfman: "I worried about my memory so much that I went and got an MRI. And I found out I have a brain tumor.

"And I was, like, 'See? I knew there was something wrong.'"

Sheryl Crow continued: "I haven't really talked about it. In November, I found out I have a brain tumour. But it's benign, so I don't have to worry about it. But it gives me a fit.

She went on to joke about the times she's forgotten the lyrics to her own songs.

Sheryl Crow made headlines in May when she forgot words to 'Soak Up The Sun' at a show in Florida.

On stage she joked: "I'm 50. What can I say!"

The 'Soak Up the Sun' singer's rep added to E! News: "Half of us are walking around with [meningioma] but you don't really know unless you happen to have an MRI.

"[Crow] has no symptoms and everything is fine. It was a random mention during the [Vegas] interview. It was not meant to alarm anyone. She is doing great and is healthy and happy."

Sheryl Crow was previously diagnosed with breast cancer, and in April it was announced she will receive the Women's Cancer Research Fund's 2012 Courage Award for her charity work

K-Solo and wife end marriage 6 months after their wedding

Top music producer K-Solo married Kikelomo Akinkunmi in November 2011. By May 2012, the marriage was over. The wife told City People in an exclusive interview that the marriage ended because K-Solo was in it for money and also because he assaulted her so much she lost the pregnancy she was carrying when they got married. 25-year-old bags PhD in Babcock Uni!!!!!!!

The 10th convocation of Babcock University, Ilisan-Remo, Ogun State and the inauguration of the institution’s Medical School came to a glorious end on Sunday with a 25-year-old lady and a 20 year-old man setting academic records in the institution, SEGUN OLUGBILE reports

They are two of a kind. They are young and imbued with the spirit of excellence. One is 25 years while the other is just 20 years old. The two, Opeyemi Sodipe and Oladeinbo Gilbert set new records during the 10th convocation of the Babcock University, Ilisan-Remo, Ogun State on Sunday. While Sodipe became the first graduate of Babcock to bag a PhD at 25, Oladeinbo emerged the all-time best graduating student of the institution after scoring a Cumulative Grade Point Average of 4.92 out of a possible 5.0. Sodipe bagged a PhD in Business Information while Oladeinbo got a degree in Law.

Their stories, as they narrated them to our correspondent after they received their awards, were as moving as they were motivational. Sodipe who was accompanied to the convocation ground by her parents had a bad academic start. She was a dullard until an incident changed this when she was in JSS3 at King’s International School, Moniya, Ibadan, Oyo State.

Senate suspends the DG of Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority

The Senate today ordered the Director General of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, Harold Demuren, to step aside until the conclusion of investigations into the Dana plane crash.

This plane made an emergency landing last month and instead of NCAA to ground the aircraft, they praised the pilots for a job well done.

The black box  is now with investigators.

COMMERCIAL PASSENGER PLANE CRASHES IN LAGOS

A commercial plane that was carrying 152 passengers from Abuja to Lagos crashed earlier today. The commercial plane belonging to Dana Airlines crashed at the Iju/Ishaga area of Lagos, Nigeria. NCAA has just confirmed that there were no survivors.

Illegal Marijuana farm found in Akwa-Ibom, owned by church elder

A marijuana farm is grown beside John Kirk Primary school, Etinam L.G.A of Akwa-Ibom state in Nigeria. This farm is owned and handled by a church elder. The marijuana farm is being grown on close to four plots of land and this church elder owner sells a leaf of the marijuana for about N1,500 to the public.

The man who sleeps in a casket

An octogenarian, Samuel Kogberegbe, told journalists on Friday that he has been sleeping inside a coffin for over forty years now.

Kogberegbe, the founder of Holy Michael Church of the Lord (Aladura), in Egbe, Lagos, who spoke as part of activities to mark the church’s 50th anniversary which holds on Sunday, 3 June, 2012, said he had slept in the coffin to remind himself of life’s vanity and that one day, he would die.


He said his action was also to teach Nigerians to be conscious about death and thus change their negative ways of life. “I believe that death is certain and I am going to end in that coffin,” he said.
The cleric also declared that former President Olusegun Obasanjo was correct to have called Nigerian lawmakers armed robbers at a function in Lagos recently. According to him, Obasanjo’s description of the country’s lawmakers as armed robbers was correct in every sense of reasoning.
He accused the lawmakers of not having any feeling for the suffering masses that voted for them, and warned church leaders to abstain from evil practices, claiming that only through this would they be able to salvage the country.

OBA OLADELE OLASORE IS DEAD!!!!!

The Aloko of Iloko Ijesha, Oba Oladele Olashore is dead. Olashore was a former Managing Director of First Bank Plc in Nigeria before he was appointed Secretary of Finance (An equivalent of Minister of Finance during the time of General Abdulsalam Abubakar as Head of State. Olashore also founded the well known Olashore International School in his home town of Iloko-Ijesha.

Oba Olashore also established Lead Merchant Bank and Lead Capital.  Olashore would be remembered for his major contributions to his home town,investing his liquid cash and managerial experience towards the upliftment of the town.The traditional ruler died at the age of 77.

So sad but a life well spent!!!!!
